Thanks to the Chicago White Sox for recognizing ¡Viva! Los Libros and how we are spreading the love of reading one book at a time with Chicago’s first bilingual and social justice children’s bookstore!

We were so honored to be recognized by NBC5 Chicago and Telemundo Chicago as part of their Hispanic Heritage Month recognition Community Heroes series!

It was so wonderful to spend the morning with reporter Sandra Torres and fellow mom and small business owner, Norma Renteria, discussing the power of books to retain language and culture!

PLUS back in June, WTTW Chicago was on-hand for the launch of our new name and new bookmobile at Albany Park Chamber of Commerce's Lot Jams!
